Renowned actor and senior artist of Pakistan Drama Industry, Talat Iqbal, has passed away in the United States, on Friday..

Talat Iqbal’s funeral prayers was held after Friday prayers at Masjid-ur-Rehman and burial held at Restland Cemetery.

Talat Iqbal was undergoing treatment in Dallas, Texas, USA. It was reported that Talat Iqbal was on a ventilator while unconscious.

In this regard, Talat Iqbal’s daughter Sumi Hussain while talking to Geo News said that her father did not have corona but he was taking some medicine which got stuck in his respiratory tract.

She further stated that her younger sister had passed away two weeks ago. After the death of younger sister, her father’s health also deteriorated.

Talat Iqbal was admitted and under treatment since 10 days.

The veteran actor played key roles in several dramas in the 70s and 80s.

He also starred in several Pakistani films during his long career.
