Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Instagram to congratulate his cousin Jamshed Burki's anniversary with a throwback picture from his wedding in 1962. A rare insight into the young Khan dressed in a sherwani and turban has won the hearts of his followers.

Burki is Khan's from his mother's side who are affiliated with the Burki tribe.

They are also related to Javed Burki and Majid Khan, two famed Pakistani cricketers.

Jamshed's father was General Wajid Burki, an army officer. Like his father, Jamshed joined the army but retired as an army captain, according to a story in Geo. He then became a political agent in Khyber Agency and also worked as home secretary in the province then known as NWFP.
